After some doubts and after “Live Radio City Music Hall”.... “Heaven & Hell” cheers us with “The Devil You Know”, a new album. Since ´´Dehumanizer``(when they were “Black Sabbath”, name that now belongs to Ozzy and his wife Sharon) they didn't release a full leght!
The album starts very well with the slow Aton &Evil, with a strong interpretation from Dio, by the way, we can note this on the whole album!
“Fear” and “Bible Black” keeps the quality...after, comes “Double The Pain”, with a nice bass intro from Gezzer Butler...the riffs of the master Tony Iommi are with an absurd quality!
“Eating the Cannibals”, was done for those who miss musics like “Time Machine”....it could be part of the set list when they plaied here..but...maybe next time!
“Follow the Tears”, “Neverwhere” and “Breaking Into Heaven”...ending this masterpiece!
Buy it!!!

Após uma certa incerteza, depois do ao vivo “Live Radio City Music Hall”....o “Heaven & Hell” nos brinda com “The Devil You Know”, um disco inédito, desde ´´Dehumanizer``...quando ainda era chamado de “Black Sabbath” (nome que agora pertence à Ozzy e sua mulher Sharon) que a banda não lançava um full leght!
O álbum começa muito bem, com a ´´arrastadona`` Aton &Evil, com uma forte interpretação de Dio, fato esse que se escuta no álbum inteiro!
“Fear” e “Bible Black” seguem mantendo a qualidade...seguida da ótima “Double The Pain”, com uma bela introdução de baixo de Gezzer Butler...os riffs do mestre dos riffs Tony Iommi são de uma qualidade absurda!
“Eating the Cannibals”, foi feita para aqueles que sentem falta de músicas como “Time Machine”....essa faixa bem que poderia ter feito parte do set que apresentaram nos shows por aqui..mas...fica para a próxima vez!
“Follow the Tears”, “Neverwhere” e “Breaking Into Heaven”...finalizam essa obra prima!

Pray is the newer album of the germans from Crematory, after the Klagebilder.

They begin with the amazing “When Darkness Falls”...followed by “Left The Ground”,after listening these, we can tell why they are one of the best gothic metal bands!
The great duets of Gerhard "Felix" Stass and Matthias Hechler are better than ever!!!
Listen to “Pray”, “Burning Bridges” and “Have You Ever” (the begin reminded me the old and amazing Paradise Lost!)
“Remenber” and the well cadenced “Say Goodbye” are the last!
Pray is a nice opition for those who enjoy a gothic metal with quality!

While “Reunions” (several bands becoming “active” again, thinkin about the money) still happening, this album appear to make the change and deserve attention because it shows that Steve Grimmett (ex-Chateaux, Grim Reaper, Lionsheart and Friction) doesn't live on the past and shows the traditional metal force in this amazing job. A first quality album, Featuring: “Karma” (the first track), “Wait For Ever”, “Enemy” (a “80's nostalgic trip”, feating Joana Ruiz on vocals), “Wrath Of The Reaper” (another 80's trip, but sounding like more atual) and the last: “Fallen”. Recommended!

Com a onda dos “Reunions”, onde várias bandas que “voltam” a ativa, vindo apenas pelo lado financeiro. Este álbum surge fazendo a diferença e merece atenção, pois mostra que Steve Grimmett (ex-Chateaux, Grim Reaper, Lionsheart e Friction) não vive do passado e mostra a força do metal tradicional em suas veias neste excelente trabalho. Um álbum de primeiríssima qualidade, com destaque as faixas “Karma” (abrindo o álbum), “Wait For Ever”, “Enemy” (uma viagem nostálgica à década de oitenta, com a participação de Joana Ruiz nos vocais), “Wrath Of The Reaper” (mais uma viagem oitentista, mas com uma pegada atual) e fechando o álbum a faixa “Fallen”. Recomendo!

Lacrimosa lança novo álbum após quatro anos
Sehnsucht chega ao Brasil em Julho pela Hellion Records

Foram quatro longos anos de espera, mas eis que Sehnsucht, novo álbum do LACRIMOSA, chega às lojas. O disco foi lançado na Europa no último dia 08 de maio pela Hall of Sermon, selo de propriedade de Tilo Wolff, líder e vocalista da banda. No Brasil, a edição nacional será lançada no próximo mês de julho via HELLION RECORDS.

Sehnsucht traz 10 faixas inéditas desses monarcas do gótico europeu e está sendo considerado pela imprensa européia como o melhor álbum de toda história de 19 anos do LACRIMOSA. O disco soa mais "rock" do que os trabalhos anteriores da banda, com uma presença mais constante das guitarras, embora toda aquela característica orquestração melancólica do LACRIMOSA permaneça intacta.
O lançamento de Sehnsucht foi antecipado pelo single Feuer que trouxe uma versão especial de "I Lost My Star In Krasnodar", de Sehnsucht, e "The Last Millennium". Sehnsucht também conta com uma edição especial limitada trazendo o tracklist normal além de seis regravações de músicas do álbum em versões alternativas.

Tilo Wolff comenta sobre o novo álbum:

Dare to Dream, novo álbum da banda Shadowside, ganhou destaque na edição de ontem do telejornal Leitura Dinâmica, da RedeTV! Na matéria, o grupo também teve a carreira lembrada pela qualidade de seus dois discos, as turnês nos EUA e os shows com o Helloween pelo Brasil. Além disso, a voz potente da cantora Dani Nolden ganhou evidência principalmente pelo video o qual mostra o semblante de André Mattos estupefato com o talento da frontwoman.

Shadowside: News on new albun in "RedeTV"! (In Youtube)

Besides, Dare to Dream, also appeared on “Leitura Dinâmica”, in the RedeTV! Channel. During the presentation, the band members had their carrer reminded due the quality of the 2 albums, the EUA tour and concerts together Helloween around Brasil. Dani Nolden was praised principaly because the video that she appears with André Mattos. André got surprised with her talent.

Dare to Dream is the second Shadowside album. It was produced and mixed by Dave Schiffman (System of a Down, Audioslave, Avenged Sevenfold etc), in LCM Studio, São Paulo. The recording process was done by the sound engineer Howie Weinberg (Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Pantera etc) in Masterdisk Studio, Nova York. This album will be available at the band's MySpace.
In 03/16, Shadowside and MySpace Brasil promoted a preview of Dare to Dream. The web surfers and the Rock/Metal fans will can listen the whole album at the band's myspace:

Este álbum dispensa comentários, é um clássico do death metal, após anos fora de catálogo, agora todos os “metalheads”, poderão adquiri-lo, e com nove faixas bônus, faltando apenas o cover de “War Machine” do Kiss, que fechava o álbum na versão do lançamento original de 1993, mas mesmo assim, é um verdadeiro presente para nós headbangers, Destaque as faixas bônus: “Storyteller 4”, “Disembodied (demo)”, “Smell Of Blood” (demo), “Contortion”, “Ritual Slaughter”, “Storyteller 2”, “Rage Within (demo)”, “I Die”, e fechando o relançamento “Storyteller Laugh”....as faixas originais dispensam maiores comentários, pois as bandas como a Ressurection, deram um novo rumo ao metal, em uma época que a moda grunge tomava conta do mercado. Recomendo, é um excelente álbum!!!

Resurrection - Embalmed Existence (2009 Re-released, (1993 year of original release))

This album doesn't need any comment...it's a classic death metal, after years out catalog, now all the “metalheads” can hear that.. plus 9 bonus tracks, only missing the Kiss cover “War Machine”, that was the last track of the original version from 1993. But still, it's an amazing gift to us, headbangers. The highlights are the bonus tracks: “Storyteller 4”, “Disembodied (demo)”, “Smell Of Blood” (demo), “Contortion”, “Ritual Slaughter”, “Storyteller 2”, “Rage Within (demo)”, “I Die” and the last “Storyteller Laugh”....the original tracks don't need any new comments, because bands like Ressurection improved death metal, in a time when the grunge leaded the market. Recommended, it's a great album!!!
