Happy and heavy new year 2011 to all of you!
Dew-Scented and Holy Moses are happy to let you know that Holy Moses guitarist Michael Hankel will be playing rhythm guitars for Dew-Scented on the European tour with Nile starting later this month! Michael will be still playing also for Holy Moses.

News November 2010

Das Jahr 2010 ist zwar noch nicht ganz vorbei, trotzdem möchten wir kurz eine Zusammenfassung Euch allen geben. Nach den sehr erfolgreichen Shows in Finland, auf dem Kaltenbach Open Air in Österreich und vor allem die Shows mit Doro in Landau und auf dem genialen Bloodstock Festival in England, hat die Band sich nun zurück gezogen. Wir sind aber nicht untätig. Denn wir sind gerade dabei, neue Songs zu schreiben, und alte erfolgreiche Holy Moses Dauerbrenner in neuen Glanz zu bringen. Wir bereiten uns gerade vor, im Frühjahr 2011 ins Absurd Studio in Hamburg zu gehen. Von Dezember 2011 bis Dezember 2012 steht unser 30 jähriges Holy Moses Jubiläum an, und dafür bereiten wir uns gerade vor. Ausserdem ist unser Vertrag mit Wacken Records beendet und wir verhandeln gerade mit diversen neuen Plattenfirmen für die 30 Jahre Holy Moses CD und unsere erste DVD in der Geschichte von Holy Moses. Erste Shows für 2011 sind bereits gebucht, die wir ab Dezember bekannt geben werden. Wir werden ab 2011 und 2012 ausgewählte Shows auf der ganzen Welt spielen um mit Euch Fans zu feiern, dass ihr uns so lange die Treue gehalten habt. Ohne Euch würde es keine 30 Jahre Holy Moses geben. Vielen Dank für Eure Unterstützung in 2010 und auf geht es mit viel Power und Energie in das Jahr 2011.


News November 2010

The year 2010 is not ended now, but we like to take the chance to give you a short overview. After the real successful shows in Finland, at Kaltenbach Open Air in Austria, and the really great shows with Doro at Landau Germany and at very great Bloodstock Open Air in UK, the band is taking a live playing stop right now. But we are not sleeping. We are working on new songs, and we started up to arrange old school classics of Holy Moses in a new structure. We will be back in the studio for an new Holy Moses album in spring 2010 at Absurd Studio Hamburg. From December, 2011 until December, 2012 we will have our 30th years anniversary with Holy Moses, and we are preparing us right now for this great event. Our contract with Wacken Records had ended in 2010 and we are dealing right now with different companies for the release of the new album and our first DVD in Holy Moses history. The first shows for summer 2011 are already booked and we will release this dates in the upcoming weeks in December. We will play only special shows starting up in 2011 around the whole world, to celebrate the 30th years anniversary of Holy Moses. We want to thank you already for that, because without you, our fans, Holy Moses would not exist for 30 Years. Thanks for all your support also in 2010 and with a lot of power and energy we will start into 2011.

In “Agony Of Death”, the tenth album of Holy Moses, the quality is amazing, strong themes are evident, along with well-known weight and speed of the band. Sabina is singing better than ever, giving us a class of aggressive vocal lines. Like many other albums, it must be listen to, there are no words to define it. Best tracks: “Alienation”, “World In Darkness”, “Pseudohalluzination”, “Angels In War”, “Dissociative Disorder”, “Delusional Denial” and “Through Shattered Minds”, the last one of “Agony Of Death”. One particularity of this work is that all tracks end in a somber and obscure way, giving a totally different appearence and making us think about the theme of the songs. Congratulations, Holy Moses! Excellent work!

“Agony Of Death” é o décimo album da Holy Moses, a qualidade apresentada no album é incrível, os temas fortes estão evidentes, juntamente com o peso e a velocidade já conhecidos na banda. Sabina está cantando como nunca, dando uma lição de linhas vocais agressivas. Como muitos outros albuns, deve-se ser ouvido, pois não há palavras para defini-los. Vamos aos destaques: “Alienation”, “World In Darkness”, “Pseudohalluzination“, “Angels In War”, “Dissociative Disorder”, “Desilution Denial” e a faixa “Through Shattered Minds” que fecha “Agony Of Death”. Uma particularidade no trabalho é que todas as faixas terminam de forma sombria e obscura, dando um clima totalmente diferente e fazendo pensar sobre o tema das faixas. Holy Moses de parabéns! Excellente album!
